Pleven:
Pleven is the seventh most populous city in Bulgaria. Located in the northern part of the country, it is the administrative center of Pleven Province, as well as of the subordinate Pleven municipality. Pleven has a rich histhory. It became widely known during the Liberation war (1878).
Interesting to the visitors of the town are the Kailak fortress, the tumulus in the Skobelev park, the Pleven Epopee Panoramic Exhibition, the old bridge on the Vit river, many monuments. The beatiful area of Kailaka is close to Pleven.
